Drive Status uses a licensed third-party background check service provider to retrieve driver's license status information. When you request a license status check:

- Our provider retrieves your license status from applicable state DMV databases
- Results are returned to you within the app
- We do not sell or share your background check results with any third party
- Data is handled in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
- Date of birth is collected only at the stage required for identity verification
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Licensed background check provider — to perform license status checks on your behalf
- Apple Inc. — for subscription management and in-app purchase processing
